About the project:
The public Metzeschmelz Forums serve as central exchange and information formats within the participatory development process of the new Metzeschmelz district. They address both the wider public and specific target groups, creating spaces for information sharing, encounters and discussion around the future development of the neighbourhood.
The forums combine traditional information-sharing approaches with interactive and participatory formats. Their aim is to make the project accessible and understandable, highlight diverse perspectives and strengthen identification with the future district. Thematic focuses included youth, neighbourhoods, public space as well as current and future uses of the site.
