About the project:
Since early 2019, the five municipalities of Bettendorf, Diekirch, Erpeldingen-Sauer, Ettelbrück, and Schieren have been holding discussions about a possible municipal merger. Part of the two-year analysis phase, which ran from 2019 to early 2021, was a public engagement process to assess the opportunities and risks of a merger from the perspective of the local population. The results were evaluated in the form of a citizen report and serve as a basis for decision-making by policymakers.
Services provided:
Consulting and design of the overall process; organization, facilitation, and documentation of all events and meetings; analysis of the results; drafting of the citizens’ report and the online platform
